I've seen lots of this lately, not just young women either. There was one about 10 feet behind me at 80 on the Motorway, when I let her pass there was all manner of fist shaking and horn blowing, and she had 2 young kids in the back!
Another one today, tailgating, on an in-town dual carriageway (40 limit) which we were doing in a stream of traffic, she whizzed up the inside with finger raised, and then cut me up to turn right anyway.
Another one a few weeks ago, at traffic lights (on my outside) pulled away really fast, cut across in front of me, and stopped, parking 1/2 on the pavement! I beeped, she swore shouted and raised fists and fingers too!
A couple of swervers I've seen texting while driving too.
All women.
Is it because it's Liverpool, or has anyone else noticed this?

Don't misunderstand me, I love women, I've even had a, sort of, platonic friendship with one, and this isn't meant to be a misogynist thread. It's just something that I've noticed of late.
While we're at it, the cab drivers of Liverpool have their own rules, and virtually no-one here uses indicators (possibly a macho thing).

Carry a couple of eggs in the car
Lob them out of the roof on to a tailgaters windscreen and they will pull back immediately.

I've often though about that BC (the light thing) good idea.
Seen it around 15 times in 30 years driving to be honest!

Around 2,000 in 30 years....however, the "average" standard of a typical Male driver is so far in advanced of an "average" Female driver is ridiculous...

That's what I always thought, spirit. This is a recent phenomenon, and I've seen it more than ever before over the last few months.
According to insurance companies the days of women getting cheaper insurance for being more carefull drivers are coming to an end.
Statistically they are getting worse by the day, must admit the last few maniacs I've seen behind the wheel have been women, few instances of mad overtaking and no consideration for road conditions.
