I am interested in 'the occult', mysticism etc, but no longer read up on the subject. Read 'The Tibetan Book of the Dead', 'Bhahavagad Gita' etc when in my 20s. Used the I Ching and got a reputation for being good with it. Never was stupid enough to think I could apply it to gambling, but firmly believe that you can be fated not to win, no matter how much intelligence, knowledge and judgement you have. If it's not your karma, you won't win.
Was interested in paranormal stuff, too. Lyall Watson's 'Supernature' was all the rage in the late 70s.
