Over the years i have been told i look like Freddie Mercury (clean shaven look, just a tash), Peter Sutclffe when i had my frizzy look and big beard (I actually was stopped in a car and questioned during the ripper murders) At the moment i have been told that i look like Shiek Mohammed.

Paul McCartney, regularly. Once, whilst queing for tickets to a match, I heard a young lady ask her friend 'Is that Paul McCartney?'. Don't think Macca has to queue with the riff-raff.

When I was young, I was told, often, that I looked like 'Starsky', also Al Pacino, a young Bob Monkhouse, and a young Anthony Newley :)
As I got older that changed to; Mark Strong, Bob Hoskins (?), Stavros Flatley(??), :(
I'm still bloody lovely though.

When I moved here, everyone kept saying I looked like Jello Biafra of the Dead Kennedys.
I'd promoted a few Dead Kennedy shows in Montreal in the 80's and had met him but never and don't see the resemblance.
I showed up at a show in Camden one time on my own and was standing watching the show. People kept turning and looking at me. Finally someone asked me if I was Jello Biafra.
Another time, a mates band was playing and Jello Biafra knew them so went on stage at the end and did two songs. After the show, I went to say hi to my mates and Jello Biafra. When we shook hands, there was this collective gasp like on the Simpsons and people started snapping photos, my Austrian friend gasping "oh my god!" as though two long lost brothers had been reunited.
He just looked at me and said "seems you're quite the celebrity over here".
