No. Seven years ago I was a rather butch woman called Shirley.
Report panglima • December 1, 2009 4:07 PM GMT
So all you have done is change your name to Sylvia !
Report HRH The Lager Khan • December 1, 2009 4:08 PM GMT
And you're a fine one to talk Pauline!
Report dk1986 • December 1, 2009 4:20 PM GMT
Massive change in my last seven years, but seven years is 30.43% of my life to date.

Even when I was 19 I was fresh-faced, had hair, cared about what I wore and was enthusiastic. Now at 23 I'm a usually-bearded, balding, fashion-averse miserable cûnt. :)

That's what working for C0ral does to you. For anyone who doesn't know, DK is female too ;)
Report Ivor • December 1, 2009 4:25 PM GMT
No, very different and not solely due to wife's cancer. I'm now in the 'angry old men' camp.

:^0 HRH

You're not wrong. About the first bit anyway!
Report HRH The Lager Khan • December 1, 2009 4:33 PM GMT
Go and have a shave and sort yourself out woman!
Report lippy • December 1, 2009 4:38 PM GMT
Seven years of betfair has changed me. Not for the better i suspect
Report Big Charlie • December 1, 2009 5:29 PM GMT
I'm a stone heavier than I was in 2002, got less hair, less money, a lot less work, but just as miserable.
Report itsmyturn • December 1, 2009 5:36 PM GMT
on a positive note 2 Stone lighter

back to reality eye sight getting worse
Report HRH The Lager Khan • December 1, 2009 5:39 PM GMT
This is the downside with the 'w@nk yourself thinner' method imo.

I thought this was going to be the thing about all the atoms in your body being turned over every 7 years so you're not, but it wasn't.
Report lmfao • December 1, 2009 9:28 PM GMT
Goring: funny you should think that:

for many humans - every single cell in within the body is renewed within every 7 year period - so we are , apparantly , not the same person as we wre 7 years ago

except for smokers - who carry around pints of tar in their lungs for as long as they live and dont get rid of it
Report slimfast • December 1, 2009 9:37 PM GMT
Actualy there are some core cells which remain throughout ones life.
Report lmfao • December 1, 2009 9:38 PM GMT

7 years ago i was a stoner and did not give a fook, maybe i should go back to being a stoner
Report Slippy Blue • December 1, 2009 9:57 PM GMT
Haven't changed a bit, still the same person I always was. My glass is always half full and see the good in people not the bad.
Report slimfast • December 1, 2009 9:58 PM GMT
It comes up in the philosophical queston of identity, (thesseuss's ship) and all that.
Apparently humans do have some permanent cells and thus do have a physical connecting aspect over time.
Report slimfast • December 1, 2009 9:59 PM GMT
Surely when people hit their 30s they all recognise what a prkk they were when they were 18?
