Not a fan but thoroughly enjoyed his series going through every state of America. Lots of interesting stories included.
I find his nose very disturbing though, like Cat Deeley's. |

He was my favourite TV personality going into the year 2009. Then in February he decided to get stuck in a lift and broadcast the situation via twitter, in the processs pushing another anti-social networking tool upon us sooner than we wanted it. He also stood up for MPs after their expenses were revealed, which was a bad move for me. We're not all TV personalities who can wipe our arse on even £500 on a whim.
He's good on TV though, in whatever he's in. All in all I'd say I'm equable when I think of him. Sometimes I feel I've got this fence-sitting down to a fine art. |

A little over exposed but hugely in demand all over the show.A superb comedy actor and been in some very successfull shows over the yrs.How many series did they make of jeeves and wooster and fry and laurie etc and he was superb in blackadder.Very few people can act in tv ,films comedy,author (not ghost) their books etc AND do all the hosting and tv work that Fry does.
Hugely inteligent,educated and impeccabley polite and well mannered and has also done time for fraud so he's certaintly lived. I say lay off the genial old fruit |
