old newspapers is the answer
Report Splicer Keats • December 1, 2009 10:13 AM GMT
big room, about a grand probably
Report V4 Vendetta • December 1, 2009 10:13 AM GMT
That's just under 100 sq. m, so that's around 800 to a grand.
Report redferrari • December 1, 2009 10:15 AM GMT
ok so say metres then - 40 foot is 12 metre? 26 is 7 metres so 12 x 7 is 85 m2?? thats sounds better!!
Report redferrari • December 1, 2009 10:15 AM GMT
84m2 even!!
Report redferrari • December 1, 2009 10:15 AM GMT

12.192m x 7.9248m = 96.6191616m^2, so you'll have to order just over 100 as it will be fixed width (like 4m across etc.). A little man will come round to show you where you can hide the dividing edges (or a big fat one).
Report Splicer Keats • December 1, 2009 10:17 AM GMT
about 98m i make it
Report redferrari • December 1, 2009 10:18 AM GMT
thankyou people, 1 other question, how much is underlay, thick stuff?
Report Splicer Keats • December 1, 2009 10:18 AM GMT
call them out to measure, let them get it right, over ordering can be expensive.
Report V4 Vendetta • December 1, 2009 10:20 AM GMT
They usually throw in the underlay (or charge an extra £1 on your carpet price) depending whether it's a premium carpet or not. So, £9 a m^2 or so would cover it probably. As above, defiintely get them to come round and measure it and decide where you want to put the joins etc.
