The Drum and Monkey used to be an amazing experience many years ago.

Can't vouch for it now as things must have changed a lot in all this time.

The food and ambience were amazing and, at the time, it was owned and run, by a pair of"very nice men", if you get the drift.

They were always the life and soul of the place and usually well oiled as the night progressed.

Check out the website here..................

Blues bar excellent. Jed on most saturdays. (Live music every night). But I prefer Montey's (just round the corner on thr Ginnel). Excellent live bands and good atmosphere. :)

I live in Harrogate, loads of decent ones, it depends what you're looking for. Italian then Joe Rigatonis is good, for Indian the Rajput is the best. A lot of restaurants are on the same street, Cheltenham Parade, you can't go far wrong on there

It was for old time's sake really.. Ann was a chambermaid there 35 years ago! :D

Don't go to Headley's, Bed or the Courtyard (IMVHO). All have gone rapidly downhill over the last couple of years. :)

And DEFFO avoid Loch Fyne :_|
