Can't think of any other reason why the great man hasn't been interviewed yet. There's certainly no obvious reason why his uninjured missus shouldn't have been interviewed to give a witness statement. Rodney King would have been confronted with a little less deference I suspect.

Could it possibly be they are terrified of making one single unimportant 'procedural' error that an army of top legal brains (and a good few chancers) can pounce on?

Or it could be beacuse if it was Joe Bloggs they would be investigating it at all, minor injuries, accident, no alcohol involved

Are you alleging a crime has been committed?

Why are the police carrying out their investigation in the public eye ?

Far more serious, is the fact that J Lo has got a temporary injunction preventing her 1st husband selling 19 hrs of them having sex filmed on their honeymoon.

Concentrate on getting this lifted.

The public have the right to know (and see) the truth. :)

Very few people (myself included, and Ye Gods maybe even you) have the slightest idea of whether a crime has been committed Mighty Orioles, least of all the media numpties that have spread vastly contradictory reports without a trace of retraction.

So, wouldn't it help if some police officers did their job and interviewed some potential eyewitnesses? For pity's sake a sainted tree and fire hydrant have been damaged. People have been imprisoned for less.

Its refreshing to see that they are treating Woods, an American sporting great, with a bit of respect. If it was over here, with a British sporting hero, the poor guy would already have been found guilty in a trial by media, and hung out to dry. Whatever has happened, it's hardly crime of the century. Shame the culture over here is to knock anyone down a peg or two at the first opportunity.

Wife dragged him out of his car gave him a good beating around the head with his favourite putter by the sound of it. He tried to get away and crashed

Eyewitnesses at 2am in an exclusive, gated community?

Doubtful.

In legal terms, this is a tempest in a teacup, the police have no need to be heavy-handed and (I suspect) even less desire. Woods and his lawyers and PR people will be in the bunker working out a plausible version of events that will do the least damage to the brand.

"So what?" Would be the Chief of Police's comment.
