I feel near death more than ahead, please help.
At my age only look forward to sporting events at the moment. Probably because i have gone to all newbs/chelts meetings before xmas...... Problem in love, married it twas the same :D |

The problem with sporting events is that they've even managed to cheapen them with frequency. Kill half the organizers, audience, players and sponsors and all will be well.

Just been looking for another one that we drank then that people might like. It's Okhotnichya?, by Stolichnaya. Hunter's vodka, got grass in it, almost like a light brandy. Not sure how widespread it is now.
Absinthe and me are finished, that is the one drink you must know where to stop, and sometimes I don't. at 44 it gets worse, believe me. I'm off to drink some Danzka lemon , good in small doses only. |

Absinthe is just like ouzo since they removed the interesting bits from it. Your imaginiation will supply the missing bits.

some geezer gave me a shot of toffee vodka the other day, i would imagine you could have some "interesting" experiences with a few bottles of that if their were some "ladies" around.
never really got into the habit of drinking neat vodka, has to be ice cold of course. i tend to buy blue label. |

I suppose it all depends if you want to be dead, dying, hallucinating, confused, happy or sober.
Difficult. In truth, I've never found the answer. I expect the answer will find me. But not without an unpleasant scene. |

I remember you now.

I used to work in Saudi and learned the art of distilling booze whilst I was over there. No grains, just sugar, water, and yeast. Let it ferment then put it through a still 4 times. If you did it right you got something that was nigh on 90% alcohol. Cut it with water 50/50 and you had a nice drink (with mixer)...still make it on the odd occasion when the fancy takes me...happy days.
|
|
By:
There's a recent book (New Scientist reviewed past couple of weeks) that suggests that aggriculture was established just to provide grains for fermentation. No desire for drink and we'd all still be hunter-gatherers. Happy days.
