Who started the rumour?
By:
No idea, Bill, I was in my late teens and at a wedding at my aunts (dads sisters) house in darkest Sussex when I first heard it, but have no idea who told me, or if it was a rumour known to all the family.
Given the state of my mothers boatrace you can have 25/1 it was Stewart Granger. |

By:
Sounds like that could be an interesting story Charlie, formerly he was known as James Stewart of course.
By:
Yes he was a right ladies man, a bit like myself really.

It's true I tell ya.

Is there something you want to tell Charlie, Mitch? I'll go to the pictures if there is.

104 notches on my bedpost, sadly 98% caused by Cleos claws.

I have no idea how MD, but one day we shall have to meet.
By:
Same goes for you Bill

I swore I'd never go the the pictures again after 1990 Bill, after a courting couple behind me spoke about soap all night throughout the performance.
By:
I'd love to meet you and some others from here, Charlie. Arrangements must be made.
By:
Soap can get you banned on here.
By:
I'll be at at the Festival in March, Bill.
By:
True, but this was rather different, he kept saying put this in your Palmolive, and she kept replying not on your lifebuoy.
By:
a courting couple spoke about soap?
I'm more innocent than I thought. |
By:
ffs MD :)
By:
ffs, I was too late. I was going to sing blowing bubbles.
Cheltenham looks good, Charlie. |
By:
Lunchtime. You could set a clock by her.
See you later. |

I'll be working on a computer, free to talk while races are on, then paying out after the race. I think we're all holed up in Cheltenham itself this year, rather than Worcester, like 2007, or Swindon, like last year. Saves a bit of driving time.
Will be with Josey Wales and his business partner, don't know if Studyform's going yet, but will hopefully see Gogoidle at some stage of the proceedings. Hope to see you there. I'll give you the joint name closer to March. |
