People are miserable because of how their lives are going, rather than because they're born to be miserable.
I don't hold anything against miserable women who have to look after their children night and day if their man has left them, for example. No-one can like staying indoors, looking after people and having no-one to converse with. People who have had their homes flooded, burgled etc are also exempt from loathing, as are people who have lost family members 'before their time'.
The miserable people I dislike are the ones who, for example, have done thousands on credit cards to enhance their social standing/appearance, then spend their time being miserable because all they're thinking about is paying it back and getting back on track.
