Report canaryboy November 20, 2009 9:23 AM GMT
i can't really, soz, but just making the point some dreams are really vivid and have an impact

maybe it won't last

possibly a scrooge moment
Report canaryboy November 20, 2009 9:23 AM GMT
not that i have to amend bad ways i might add!

because i'm great
Report Joel November 20, 2009 9:25 AM GMT
So why would you bother telling everyone if you're not going to say what happened?
Report DonWarro November 20, 2009 9:25 AM GMT
are you cartman out of south park? :)
Report canaryboy November 20, 2009 9:26 AM GMT
because i was interested in whether other people had had similar experiences

the fine details are unimportant

that is not the issue here
Report Capt__F November 20, 2009 9:26 AM GMT
did u go shopping in ur dream or were u playing dond ?
Report canaryboy November 20, 2009 9:26 AM GMT
cartman, but funnier
Report canaryboy November 20, 2009 9:27 AM GMT
i didn't go shopping no

but my bill was £32 last night
Report CUPRA November 20, 2009 9:28 AM GMT
Yes, i too have had a similar experience.
Report canaryboy November 20, 2009 9:29 AM GMT
did it have a lasting effect?
Report Ken Masters November 20, 2009 9:33 AM GMT
I have also had a similar experience.
Report DonWarro November 20, 2009 9:34 AM GMT
did u feel like u were sort of awake in ur dream. sometimes i feel semi-conscious within it and can direct it where i want to..

not sure what u mean re is it lasting - it's changed your perspective on something i guess - so it's an expansion of mind to a degree - also known as maturing, in which case yes, it will likely last.

not very easy to discuss when you wont tell us what it was about... are you now a g@yer and thus are concerned?? :p
Report canaryboy November 20, 2009 9:36 AM GMT
yeah i did feel awake

i think it's a follow up to some thoughts yesterday about my own mortality

the concept of not existing is a tricky one to get your head around

it was more of a be proactive type thing to make things happen type situation
Report canaryboy November 20, 2009 9:37 AM GMT

ahh, you're trying to understand what we call reality then.

imo we - this reality - is not real.

we live an illusory existence. http://plus.maths.org/issue51/features/maldacena/index.html

all there is is thought creating sound waves or vibrations which create heat and thus light which creates everything else. mass is merely vibrations on a different frequency, seemingly solid but still a frequency or resonance constructed at its basic level no differently to a sound or a light which exist at again differing frequencies.

we are all connected at this ultimate thought level, but we are not permanently connected to this thought level consicously (although i think we can be). so we control this reality through our collective thought patterns. these are driven overridingly in certain directions through sublimininal cycles, shaping our underlying thoughts to create subconsicouslythe reality desired by the mass consicousness.

with this in mind on an individual level we should be able to hold more control over our experiences in this reality by concentrated efforts on what it is we want to achive. positive mental attitude basically. those that tell themselves they are unlucky, will ultimately be unlucky because they are convincing themselves that is truth. those that tell themselves they are the bolox and succesful, more than likely will be imho.

a point to add - movies like 2012 entering the mass consicousness make events that occur in the movie more likely to occur. same with aliens and anything else.

:)

Anyone who wants their dreams analyzed on chit-chat, it's the stock answer and saves a lot of time.

I had a bit of a mad dream a few weeks ago that has made me think a whole lot differently.
My Dad died last July and Im still struggling to come to terms with it, in my dream I was playing football and he came to watch (as he used to a lot) I just gave him a hug a shocked kind of hug as even thogh it was a dream I knew he had died, but it was definitely him.
I said to him I would see him after the game as the ref had just blown the whistle, then I woke up.
I was gutted when I woke that I didnt speak to him but rightly or wrongly this has now made me feel I must give people more time and not be so selfish with my time.

Couldn't you have got sent off or faked an injury to get off the pitch quicker?
Report canaryboy November 20, 2009 2:49 PM GMT
sorry to hear that

i think dreams about people who have passed away are common

because you want to see them again

had a few like that myself

To be honest Ive never thought about them once Ive woken up but that one stuck. Not really that bothered to be honest but did make me think.

Ive never remembered any dream I may /or may not have had.

I had a dream the other day about a lass in work whom I would very much like, to use chit chat vernicular, spaff on her chebs. Dissapointingly in this dream I was playing a game of COD ( a twisted dream world real life version of) and all she did was hand me a magazine for my M14 Assault rifle. Very dissapointed in her brief appearance.

I do often have dreams that lead to me writing down ideas for short stories and novels. I have many such example of this but have only really developed a few of them to this point.
Report Roger The Butler November 20, 2009 3:22 PM GMT
My most disappointing dream was to be alone with Dionne from Babestation and all we did was go for a coffee in a Belgian cafe. The BFG probably thought he was doing me a real favour delivering her for my pleasure and I just threw it back in his face.
