Land of Hope and Glory would be the clichéd choice I suppose; significantly better than our current anthem for me, though.

too cliched and just stinks of the proms and the british being proud of being british for the sake of it imo. But fair point imo.

The British National Anthem has always been the most diabolical dirge of any anthem.
It's about time it was scrapped.
Land of Hope and Glory would be far more preferable, but then again, absolutely anything would be a better alternative.

aussies are in the same predicament - their national anthem is awful. but waltzing matilda, not bad tbf, is their preferred version.

My preferred version is:
