We purchased a new Toshiba Satellite L300-1DN Laptop recently. (Harvey N)

We were informed that we may be eligible for Windows 7 Upgrade via Toshiba Website. When we purchased the laptop, we were under the impression that Windows Vista Home Premium was pre-installed. When we got it home and working Windows Vista Basic was running.

We entered serial number on Toshiba Website and they confirmed that Windows Vista Home Premium was installed at factory. There is a seial at the back of laptop as well confirming this.

We want to find out are we still eligible for upgrade and was the shop entitled to change it back to Windows Vista Basic. or what happened???

Thanking you for any replies.
