My Top 10 --in no particular order:

1/ Phil Silvers as Bilko

2/ Bob Monkhouse, with his superb wit and delivery.

3/ John Cleese/Michael Palin.

4/ Steve Coogan as Alan Partridge.

5/ Ricky Gervais ( we've built him up-time to knock him down) gave an incredible performance in The Office, Comedic masterpiece, where its so easy to miss the visual jokes and expressions after 3/4 viewings.

6/ Leonard Rossiter in Reginald Perrin and Rising Damp

7/ Ronnie Barker in almost everything he did.

8/ Eric Morecambe was naturally funny and well-loved in gentler times.

9/ Les Dawson was a very articulate and gifted Man with fabulous timing.

10/ Paul Merton has an incredibly fertile imagination and quick wit.

Who makes you laugh, consistently Guys?

jack Dee is the best at the moment. Connolly was the business but obviously after so many years he is no longer fresh. The one who is really funny at the moment is Rhod Gilbert (check youtube) but thats from only a couple of routines. Just ordered his first DVD and I,m hoping its gonna be good

Alan Partridge is the comedy golden nugget in recent years.
Jordi, my old mate Ted had a club in Blackpool in the early 70's, he had Dustin Gee on the bill loads of times and some of the stories he used to tell about the pair of them would bring tears to your eyes, literally.

'oments.

Funny how these are all mainstream comics nowdays. Sure, some of them are supreme in their work, but nobody has one that they happen to have seen perorming the graveyard shift in some dingy club in Bethnal Green.

I'm sure it was never like this in the Joan Collins Fan Club days
