Over a hundred. All the same so no messing about pairing.

When I have a machine full I do a sock wash.

Going most of the year without wearing socks the transition to 'winter clothing' always brings up the 'where the hell are all my socks' question.
Long since abandoned any attempt at matched pairs but I reckon I have about 25-30 individual socks fit for wearing.

why does anyone have more than 10 ??
Report Ramruma November 16, 2009 2:15 PM GMT
60-70

Must have more than 20 but always struggle to find a pair.

Do you insist on wearing a matching pair?

If you didn't who's going to notice?

And if someone did notice - so what

Doesn't matter if they start out all the same, they never end up matching - always go different shades :(

On buying a pair of brown shoes, I realised I had to buy some brown socks. Buy 1 pack of 5, get another pack of 5 free. Bargain, or so I thought.

As I only wear brown shoes once or twice per week, my sock draw is all out of kilter. The ratio of brown to black socks is all wrong. So much so that I had to buy some extra black ones to redress the balance.

I only ever match socks when I'm wearing trousers and shoes. If not, and I'm normally wearing boots/trainers and jeans, then anything will do...as long as they are thick socks. I hate thin socks.
