Just bought a DVD from Ebay and it is sealed with what looks like one of those theft-proof devices they use in department stores...it is just a normal DVD case, but there are 5 DVDs inside
there is a long plastic strip inside the cover on the right-hand side, where you would open it...there is a small hole in the case there, and a red padlock showing through it - just above that red padlock, there is a green padlock
obviously i need to get that green padlock to show through the hole, but i can't work out how - there are no other obvious holes in the case
any ideas that won't wreck the DVDs would be appreciated...
If it was a big seller v unlikely to be hot but if it's a itstbitsy seller and security tagged it's a NAP stolen one.
I've no idea about who you bougth it from but i'm presuming like most ebayers you bought it beacuse it was the cheapest out there,so in fairness giving the seller a poor review is v much biting the hand that feeds you.

^ good point - was a region 4 box set of a tv drama, retails for about $60, got it for $18 including postage...
i actually did get a reply from the seller - he said something to the effect of - "sorry, i usually make sure the seal is removed when i buy them" - he then suggested i could use a bread and butter knife to open it, and offered to send another case if it got damaged...

Nailed on stolen. Security tags are always removed at the desk. Don't report it though as the fella knows your address and there are some dodgy khunts out there.
