My back's been getting steadily worse ever since I moved into a new flat. The culprit is the mattress which is a lot softer than I like. So I want a new mattress, but I want one that's easy to store away since I'll be taking it with me to my next flat.

I've seen these roll up mattresses advertised but are they really firm enough?
(if it was really firm, how could it be rolled ?)

Answers, suggestions welcome.

Get a good quality latex mattress. It will cost you a lot more though.
