Don't spread the sauce too thick or the pizza will turn to mush.

erm

cheese? and loads of it

the key ingredient of any pizza
Report munch man November 15, 2009 3:27 PM GMT
must be mozzarella
Report treble November 15, 2009 3:28 PM GMT
Imo, seafood has no place on a pizza.
Report d13phe November 15, 2009 3:28 PM GMT
moazarella is a terrible pizza cheese imo

all comes off in one go

gruyere and cheddar for me, maybe some ementhal
Report postmannick November 15, 2009 3:29 PM GMT
k-nob cheese works just as well
Report clarkson November 15, 2009 3:29 PM GMT
stuff the pizza, have you got any risotto rice or a bit of curly wurly pasta.
Report positively4thsteet November 15, 2009 3:31 PM GMT
don't put seafood on pizza, is awful imo
Report sparkmaster. November 15, 2009 3:33 PM GMT
All you seem to be missing are the ingredients for a pizza.
Report morpteh mackem November 15, 2009 3:34 PM GMT
got some mozarella, got to be careful with it at mo as have got gallstones.

Smoked salmon on a pizza? I've heard it all now.
Nip out to the deli counter and get some decent pepperoni and some anchovies and you are in business.
Report d13phe November 15, 2009 3:36 PM GMT
sounds like you have a good recipe for seafood linguine rather than a pizza

get some sweet chilli sauce in there and bobs your uncle and also your aunties mother
Report morpteh mackem November 15, 2009 3:38 PM GMT
got some pepperoni, again cant have it due to high fat content. actually its not smoked salmon, its salmon flakes.
Report Coachbuster November 15, 2009 3:41 PM GMT
olives
Report morpteh mackem November 15, 2009 3:44 PM GMT

Pineapple a shocking omission!
Report morpteh mackem November 15, 2009 3:53 PM GMT
not with seafood
Report d13phe November 15, 2009 3:58 PM GMT
looking at the ingredients again

Are you pregnant?
Report Glossy November 15, 2009 3:59 PM GMT
It looks like it's going to be a monstrosity anyway, looking at that ingredients list. A few chunks of pineapple wouldn't do any harm.
Report Nirvana November 15, 2009 4:00 PM GMT
Nor some banana :D
Report Glossy November 15, 2009 4:09 PM GMT
I've always found that marshmallows compliment the salinity of capers very well too.

Echo that seafood pizza is not worth the effort. Risotto, paella, or linguini would be much better.

Re: pepperoni and high [sat] fat content. I have a similar issue with Chorizo, which I love. If you shop around and find the lowest saturated fat content, and then slice it, (say 3mm thk), and skewer it with spaces between. then lay the skewer down suspended over an oven dish on lowish, (say 120 degrees), for 5 or ten minutes in the oven you lose a lot of the fat. the n add back into whatever your cooking. In the case of pizza you can add it just before finished cooking. you do realise that the cheese is roughly as fattening as the pepperoni? Or is that why your trying to do a seafood, dairy free?
Report morpteh mackem November 15, 2009 4:39 PM GMT
finished and all eaten. jim, did use mozarella but very fleetingly. Crab meat didnt really work and got lost in the various flavours . Capers work really well imo.
Report Glossy November 15, 2009 5:46 PM GMT
How was the pineapple? Did you use fresh or tinned?
Report Bamboo November 15, 2009 5:47 PM GMT
cheese ,tomatoe and dough and that
Report Coachbuster November 15, 2009 5:52 PM GMT
