I read a survey that the average price of beer in the east midlands is 1.99 for ale and lager about £2.60

My local charges £2.50 for ale and £2.90 for fosters and the only place I know that sells ale for 1.99 or less is the weatherspoons. This can't be right.

Aparently average price of ale for northerners (yorkshire & north east) is £1.70. Is this bo11ox?

blademan seems a cheap day out for £15 but 8 pints x £1.55 = £12.60 leaves £2.40 for your two taxi fares surely you'd of been better off walking if you live next door ;)
