Very good, London before the ethnic cleansing.
By:
lol five by five
i always think in them days everything was really in black and white ,strange isnt it |
By:
Joking aside it is scarey just how much has changed in a relatively short space of time (80years) film those same areas now and instead of playing spot the black man its spot the white man. In another 80years time who knows what it will be like.

Biggest change I could see is that everyone seems to wear hats. About as (in)significant, I'd say.

Very good, London before the ethnic cleansing. Any idea what the term 'ethnic cleansing' actually means and what has gone on in counties where actual ethnic cleansing has gone on? Obviously not because anyone who had even the slightest idea would not be a big enough pr1ck to use that term in relation to the UK. That your ilk use in a more than a semi serious matter just shows you up as a pea brained pr@t with no respect for real history |

Male or female you were deemed naked without a titfer in those days. Strange that we give Muslim women and Sikhs such a hard time for covering their heads nowadays.
By:
Filmed in the days when London was great and actually had English people. Amazing.
By:
despite the fact it looks dirtier and more basic, id take that to the way it is these days, unsafe and full of shady people that you cant even communicate with..ah the good old days yet we weren't even born then :D
By:
Yep there was no crime in those days as that only started after ww2 (absolutely no crime gangs operated in petticoat lane in those days) there was absolutely no squalor, nobody lived in slums or died before they were 30 through easily curable conditions, oh happy days.......

Splicer - have scores of a particular race been killed by another race in London because of their race?
By:
Technology has advanced but the quality of people has been going downhill since the sixties, and plummeted over the last twenty years.
By:
says somebody named after a murderer who was hanged........
By:
He wasn't guilty.
By:
Maybe not but he was hanged wasn't he - oh happy days......
By:
ethnic leansing by stealth and immigration, white flight, call it what you want, but the indiginous londoner no longer feels at home there, no rape and murder, oh i take that back, plenty of it committed by the unwelcome and unneccessary, you can dress it up how you like but it is a form of ethnic cleansing without the violence.

By:
Went back to South London today and passed thru' New Cross/Deptford/Lewisham and 2/3 other areas and less than 6/7% of the kids were White.
What a contrast as 40 years ago it was 98%. Hang on! If less than 2% of the London populace can produce over 90% of schoolchildren in 40 years, how many will the "90%+" produce? |

hello H ( cannyman)

Just to clarify then: you equate large numbers of people being (generally brutally) killed because of their race (not colour) with people feeling threatened and moving out because they believe (rightly or wrongly) anybody who wasn't born here (and can trace their ancestry back at least what 2000 years?) is more likely to commit crime? Glad we got that sorted - those who have died so atrocities don't take place would be proud of you!

Thanks for posting Mr Lizard
Fascinating film :) In some ways it could have been filmed yesterday. (from a 1920's film set) Then other times, it could nt :( |
By:
really enjoyed watching that footage, thanks .
surprising how much rtraffic was around back then |
By:
agree bobby, it does actually looks like its been filmed recently doesnt it but just dressed up in 20's gear, could be easily done these days, think its the quality of the film which makes it look like that tbh.
By:
^^would cost millions for all the props
By:
does make a difference though the colour, people in the black and white footage look almost ghost like and scary!
look more human in that footage :) |
By:
Amazing footage. Look how smart everyone looked. Collar and ties all round.
Thanks so much for posting. Wonderful. |
By:
Health and safety would have a field day back then :^0 ....
I also like the way people casually walk between the traffic . |
