and why didn't you get your kit off as well. I definitely would have if I was thirty years younger.
In scandinavia this is normal. Naked men + woman strangers sharing a hotel sauna. You sit on a small napkin that you pick up on the way in but very ofensive when the big fat burd stands up and there is a nice skid mark on the napkin.

I wouldn't bother sitting down. I'd just stand in the middle of the room, legs slightly apart, with my hands behind my head.
its a very small sauna - would only fit 2 lying down - on each step - 6 max if you are sitting and squashed
you could accidentally sit on the girl and blame it on the steam.
