I rotate the papers I read, sometimes at random, sometimes I choose depending on the nature of news I want to read, (ie sport or politics or gossip or business etc), the point being if you swear by one paper over another then you are not getting balanced views. There are papers I do despise, but I will pick them up and see what they are saying. The sun is not so bad imo, but then again I don't read anything that they are trying to be serious about. a little football and gossip is ok here and there. The Express is the worst, largely because it is dull as fk and predictable as hell in scaremongering the middleclass fkwits that read it. Mail only slightly better. The observer can be a good read but you have to be prepared to read a lot of the smaller news and opinions. The star is unashamedly just a comic and so I find it hard to have a go at them. Telegraph for sports reviews, politics etc, and the mirror wins hands down for sports gossip/predictions.

Regardless you should read a wide variety of them imo.

Mirror infinitely superior to Sun cos it's an intelligent tabloid with excellent columnists like Tony Parsons, Oliver Holt and Derek McGovern.
While I detest the deification of celeb culture, politically the Mirror is very sound imo. It's left wing, anti-Cameron, and it was against an illegal war.
The Sun is pedalling a campaign to get Brown out and Cameron in. I'm no New Labour fan - think Blair royally scre*ed up this country, but the sickener is, the propoganda machine of The Sun, and with those circulation figures they can essentially get Cameron (a professional liar in the Blair mould whose entire image is a PR con) in, and he is guaranteed to f*ck things up even more.
