God's truth, I was in the barbers yesterday morning and she sent her minion out to buy a newspaper, quote
"Get me The Sun - it's the only paper that tells the truth" What can you do when you're up against people like that? |
By:
Saw a sun crossword clue at work once - Inhabited Planet - 5 letters - just about sums it up.

Don't buy any Murdoch publication. There are plenty of others to choose from.
By:
Why would anyone buy a newspaper these days anyway?

BUY A NEWSPAPER OF YOUR OWN CHOICE AND STOP TELLIN OTHER PEOPLE WHAT TO BUY MATEY.....AND NO I DONT BUY THE SUN I BUY THE MIRROR

sun newspaper is it the most popular paper bought in the united kingdom
why ? |
By:
sun and mirror are much the same...both entertaining though for a 20 min read on train to work
By:
mirror load of rubbish compared to sun, suppose daily mail readers think they better than sun readers load of cods wallop.
By:
I agree with rogerthebutler
By:
Daily Mail readers ARE better than Mirror readers of course , but if the Brit public don't take to the streets about wars, immigration, credit-crunch, taxation and parliamentary corrupshun - I hardly think a 'buy the Sun' ban is gonna rattle any cages.

Does 'The Perishers' still appear mr blue 1982 ?

Is Lynne still a 30-something MILF, forever getting her Eartha Kitts out in the 'George and Lynne' cartoon?
By:
Is the Sun behind the military campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan ?
If so it's rather hypocritical to use a mother's grief to attack a Prime Minister who has sent a letter of condolence. I assume they are encouraging families to feel proud when their sons and daughters are sent to serve in far off parts. Personally I would try to dissuade any relative from joining up ( unless I didn't like them of course ) |

By:
I think she's now in the swinging 60's roger ..........
and I do mean swinging. |
By:
Often find The Sun in the staff room where I work. I only read the Dear Deidre bit for a laugh. Same goes with the Daily Star. The rest is utter trash.
The Daily Mirror's choice of typeface is so unpalatable I'm surprised they sell a single copy before anyone's made a judgement as to the content inside. |
By:
its simple you don't buy the Sun if you dont like it and you buy it if you do. To try and stop others from buying it is arrogant posturing
By:
yes :)
By:
curious-cat, I'm with you all the way on this one, I go even further by refusing to even talk to anyone I know who reads this S**T. Only a moron would admit to buying it.
Cue abuse................. |
By:
The abuse will come from Veronica, 22, from Derby, on tomorrow's Page 3.
She will have much to say about this issue. |
By:
dk1986, lol, I'm sure Sun readers will hang on every tit bit she has to offer.

I don't mind anybody reading The Sun, its when they then come into the pub spouting the s hite that they read in ''The Sun Says'' as though it was written in stone by God and handed to Moses. :)
