I got one recently about updating my outlook security settings for my bt internet email address. It asked nothing except to visit a link and I reckon many people would have been suckered in by it. The link itself was (to me) obviously dodgy and so I avoided installing the latest virus etc I also checked the ip address and it was in Peru, and I don't think bt have outsourced there yet :p
