on my calendar boxing day is a monday 28/12 ive also heard quite a good few of my friends have got to work the saturday as its not classed as a holiday ....well f@ckin wrong imo

the last time this occured we worked extra hours monday to thursday to gain the extra day off. ;-)

Postcomm has decided to allow exceptions to Royal Mails universal service obligation to deliver or collect mail on certain specified days. These changes take effect from October 5, 2009. These are as follows: * Saturday Dec 26 2009 (Boxing Day 2009) in the UK. (This is on top of the official bank holiday on Monday December 28 2009 which Royal Mail intends to observe); |
