ok cheers PUG sid yes we flew economy, there was plenty of leg room. They ply you with a much drink and you need (I would imagine they would put limits on anyone trying to get pi$$ed thou). The food was perfectly reasonalbe for an in flight meal/s. Didnt use the online check in so cant comment on that. Me and my mum flew out there to visit my brother who lived there for 2 years. Its a fantastic place, I would recommend it to anyone. Happy Valley is amazing, cheap as *****entry fee and a wonderful atmosphere inside. Also must do's are; take the peak tram to the summit with views overlooking the harbour get the Star ferry (at night imo) to Kowloon. shop in Causeway Bay visit the Big Buddah statue (on Lantau island) take the bus to the little village of Stanley on the south of the main island and visit the market... truly amazing. Enjoy...im jealous...

Everytime ive flown with BA ive noticed the interior to be a bit dated on the planes.
Flew with Cathay last year and it was a brand spanking new plane - food was excellent, an airline I would use again.

flown with BA on a long haul a few times and despite having old haggered flight attendents, are the best ive flown with. Very good food, inflight entertainment is excellent and service is good.
Cathay Pacific are also quite good and of course, like all asian airlines, have hot air stewardesses.
