A unforeseen consequence of the smoking ban in pubs perchance???

AND IT GETS WORSE THE MORE I THINK ABOUT IT
DO YOU SMOKERS ACTUALY SMOKE IN FRONT OF PETS??????? Now that it's impossible to smoke anywhere in public, at work, on public transport, in bars and clubs or even soon on the street. That means that a lot of babies, children and household pets are probably going to be subjected to a hell of a lot more of fag smoking and lung destroying and illness provoking smoke. None of these kids, babies and fluffy animals asked to be brought into these houses of torture and injury and cancer and disease against healthy living. Children and animals will need to be monitored more closely to see if this form of child abuse of inflicting damage to health is becoming worrying or serious enough that the kids and the animals need to be removed to smoke-free safe houses. Surely all-parents that smoke at home in front of their kids knowing the risks are evil, lazy, weak, selfish uncaring child abusers who couldn't give a s hit that maybe they are setting a bad example and leading their kids to death in showing them smoking is good, mummy and daddy are doing it? Should all babies be adopted at birth from smokers? Should the RSPCA protect pussy cats and doggies lungs too? I THINK WE NEED TO BAN SMOKING - PERIOD. |

A unforeseen consequence of the smoking ban in pubs perchance??? Yeah, those ba$tards forcing you to breath toxic smoke into the lungs of your child. If only they had thought of this consequence. |

Awful fag.
By:
And alcohol should be banned for under 25's imo
Don't see any muslim chavs back in saudi arabia. |
By:
so- do you smokers actualy smoke in front of children?
By:
more smokers are staying in now with a few cans rather than going to the pub, so it's obvious that more smoking is going on in the home. i think the smoking ban has backfired
By:
yes imagine smokers having to stay in with their kids instead of getting legless in the pub!!
By:
do YOU smoke in front of children?
By:
Obese kids who are fed high sugar diets by their parents are at far greater risk of health problems than they would be by passive smoking.
By:
EMR -I suppose if you start of with the presumption that smokers are selfish its a hard question as to who they shoudl infect with smoke ,strangers in a pub or their own kids at home. I suppose some are selfish enough to not step into the garden or yard when at home and in the company of theri own kids but tbh if that is the case the kids have more to worry about than a bit of smoke

By:
I don't have kids but i have smoked in front of children. these fecking nazi's want the government to regulate every aspect of our lives for our own benefit. Feck 'em. the government should be encouraging smoking as a way of reducing pension payouts and increasing tax take.
By:
should have been left to the pubs to decide if they wanted a smoking ban in their pubs
By:
isnt it strange how reticent the smokers appear to be now?
Q: Do YOU smoke in the prescence of children? |
By:
Outside, yes.
Head at a lower level, smoke goes up to the sky. No problem. |
By:
Yes i smoke in front of children
If I am forced outside of a pub to have a smoke and children are present whose fault is that mine for consenting to the law or parents of kids who shouldnt be near pubs when underage |
By:
who is actually forcing you to smoke fouraces?
By:
he said he was forced outside a pub to smoke, he didn't say anyone was forcing him to smoke.
By:
I enjoy a cigarette and since this nanny state we live in says i cant smoke in the pub dont complain if I light up when your kids are stood in the beer garden of my local.
By:
err i think there is no law banning minors from being NEAR pubs tbh
By:
Do you smokers smoke in front of children indoors , then?
By:
Never smoke indoors - regardless of children being there or not.
By:
Given the low parenting skills of a lot of the population im surprised they didnt think of this, LF, after all they have encouraged the feckless quite a lot.
btw, im not a parent |

Do you smokers smoke in front of children indoors , then? That is not what you asked. Why have you changed the question. |
By:
madsimon 09 Nov 18:38
err i think there is no law banning minors from being NEAR pubs tbh err I think there is also no law banning me from smoking in a designated area-if you choose to bring your kids into that area then why should I feel guilty. |
By:
I'm asking it now:
Do YOU smoke in doors in front of children |
By:
fouraces--i dont expect smokers to not smoke in outside areas even if my kids are there. ITs enclosed spaces where smokers ought to look at themselves if they smoke and others are present especialy kids
By:
Yes I will smoke indoors in front of kids.
Me and my wife both smoke and have no desire to have kids- if you visit and bring your kids you will know I smoke-if you choose to stay or leave that is your perogative. |
By:
madsimon and lmfao
do either of you drive a car |
By:
Non smokers will be the one's laughing when all the smokers catch lung cancer and die a premature death.
I've heard the latter stages of lung cancer are agony. Good luck with that. :( |
By:
when i go for a smoke in the beer garden and there are non smokers there i make sure i smoke 2 cigs instead of 1 while i'm there
By:
yes i do fouraces -and yes i have to in order to work and contribute to society , cars serve a useful purpose ,smoking does not
By:
Are'nt you the big man?
By:
and anyway you drive cars outside!!
By:
so because your car serves a useful purpose it is acceptable to fill non drivers lungs full of toxic fumes.
By:
fouraces -i would entireley support the ban on cars being driven in pubs

madsimon 09 Nov 18:55
fouraces -i would entireley support the ban on cars being driven in pubs YES AS DO I - AND I MADE THAT VERY CLEAR YESTERDAY. |
By:
well fouraces -you are a lot more likely to die of smoking related dieasers than car driving ones--As I said though I have no objection to smokers msmoking outside only inside and with compnay -so i am perfectly willing to have cars being banned from being driven inside to show fairness .

By:
how many people die or need hospital treatment from smoking related diseases everyday compared to people dieing or needing hospital treatment from careless motorists causing accidents everyday
