I wonder if this is a**-up by Betfair? Most bookmakers free bets understandably do not return the stake which the bookmaker provides - you only receive the resultant winnings. So did Betfair intend to refund the stake only to losers? But the wording, pehaps erroneously, suggests that winners will also receive back their stake. We shall see.
