Use a Sensitive Teeth toothpaste, i dont know what it contains, but it Works.
Report canaryboy November 7, 2009 3:58 PM GMT
it's not a sensitive teeth problem tho, just a tooth

sensitive as in it aches

can feel it slightly even when nothing touches it now

maybe time to get a dentish again
Report punterfleecer November 7, 2009 3:59 PM GMT
which tooth is it?
Report sidthekid November 7, 2009 4:00 PM GMT
Believe it or not, some ear infections can make teeth ache.
Report everythings gone green November 7, 2009 4:00 PM GMT
I had similar pain.

Bought stuff called Sensiblok from Boots. About a fiver.

You paint it on the tooth where it meets the gum.

Instant cure!

I use a sensitive teeth toothpaste as well now but they take a while to work.

If it's just one tooth, rather than most of them, probably headed for a filling or extraction. It can go away and is likely to fluctuate in intensity. Sensitive teeth, which respond brilliantly to Sensodyne toothpaste, usually involves lots of teeth. Worth giving Sensodyne a try. Otherwise it's ibuprofen or Solpadeine.

yeah i know sid, it's cos the nerves are connected

it's top right of the mouth near the back
Report everythings gone green November 7, 2009 4:04 PM GMT
Exactly where mine was.
Report canaryboy November 7, 2009 4:05 PM GMT
yeah i reckon you're right wur

been a few years since last saw a dentist as needed a new one and never got round to it

Report punterfleecer November 7, 2009 4:05 PM GMT
i get a problem like that too with a tooth at the top right at the back

it comes and goes, what I mean by that is, it probably happens about 6 times a year

I have been to the dentist since, but I never told her about this problem, not that it bothers me, but she said my teeth are fine
Report kingfisher 23 November 7, 2009 4:06 PM GMT
tooth hurty for the appointment CB
Report punterfleecer November 7, 2009 4:06 PM GMT
the pain comes when I eat a Mars bar for some reason

"don't have a dentist".......?
You mean that after 12 years of a Labour Government some people in this country still don't have access to a dentist?
Report canaryboy November 7, 2009 4:06 PM GMT
oh right

so it wasn't a problem they could see

will get some painkiller tonight and see how it is over the next few days i think

never had anything like it before

Report kingfisher 23 November 7, 2009 4:07 PM GMT

Sorry mate couldnt resist :)
Report punterfleecer November 7, 2009 4:08 PM GMT
well she hasn't seen anything that was wrong

I'm due a check up soon, and i will mention it to her, and see what she says
Report Gene Hackman November 7, 2009 4:09 PM GMT
or has dentistry not reached that bleak outpost that you live in CB?
Report punterfleecer November 7, 2009 4:09 PM GMT
thats ok kingfisher, no it wasn't deep fried, deep fried mars bars have gone out of fashion now

but whats popular is deep fried pizzas, do you get them in England? I think they're horrible, I had a bite of a deep fried pizza off a lady friend, and it was horrible, so coated in oil, that the dough was sticking to the side of my teeth, not in the gum , actually stuck to my teeth
Report canaryboy November 7, 2009 4:10 PM GMT
i don't live in a bleak outpost

Report kingfisher 23 November 7, 2009 4:11 PM GMT
If your serious that is mad, you dont get them around here. In the Fish and *****shop i went to in Scotland asked if i wanted salt and sauce. Is that what they all say, i said yes and it was delicious.
Report punterfleecer November 7, 2009 4:15 PM GMT
yea the horrible deep fried pizzas are quartered, its not a whole pizza if you were thinking that, they go wae *****

nah I usually get asked the usual salt and vinegar question, but of course it depends what you're buying they may ask if you want sauce
Report kingfisher 23 November 7, 2009 4:18 PM GMT
Try this 2 jumbo sausages wrapped in kebab meat, deep fried with *****and garlic and chilli sauce.
Report punterfleecer November 7, 2009 4:20 PM GMT
shocking that is

donner meat is yucky anyway, dunno how they're popular, well of course most people are drunk when they eat them
Report Ronaldinho's dentist November 7, 2009 4:21 PM GMT
was in a chippy in aberdeen once and was as astounded as bloke in front asked for, and got, a battered pie! a meat pie, coated in batter and deep fried!
Report kingfisher 23 November 7, 2009 4:21 PM GMT
That was in Scotland, i didnt eat it
Report punterfleecer November 7, 2009 4:24 PM GMT
they'll put anything in batter here, fvcking disgusting

the life expectancy in parts of glasgow are worse than some african countries apparently

I don't know why theres a liking for batter here
Report canaryboy November 7, 2009 4:54 PM GMT
thinking about it, it all started since i drank some very cold juice cos the fridge was playing up and set almost freezing temperature

may have triggered it, so just something which will ease off maybe
Report punterfleecer November 7, 2009 4:56 PM GMT
you wanna get the landlord to**that fridge

how's life working in McDonalds?
Report canaryboy November 7, 2009 4:59 PM GMT
lol it's our fridge

it was set to the max anyway, so not really playing up

maybe just working how is should now

but we need to sell it if new move goes ahead as new place has fridge fitted

maccy d's is great thanks
Report punterfleecer November 7, 2009 5:02 PM GMT
my fridge setting is at medium, apparently that's where it's always meant to be?

I thought you had already moved, but looks like no, have you not bought Gregg's a glass of wine yet?

hope you get a manager position at McDonalds sooner or later
Report canaryboy November 7, 2009 5:04 PM GMT
yeah should be medium

but don't think that was cold enough before

haven't moved yet

it's not an instant process

why would i have bought her a glass of wine?
Report punterfleecer November 7, 2009 5:21 PM GMT
cos she's a nice girl, and if a girl that types on betfair chit-chat and she lives in the same town as you, it's common courtesy to buy her a glass of wine

sorry for the late reply though
Report canaryboy November 7, 2009 5:26 PM GMT
oh i see

i'd forgotten that was chit chat protocol

we're both busy people tbh
Report punterfleecer November 7, 2009 5:27 PM GMT
well fair enough, be sure to leave an empty space in the diary for a glass, that applies to Gregg's as well

no p!ssing at the bar mind!
Report twopoundpunter November 8, 2009 6:15 AM GMT
