Years ago found a fiver at the bus stop. I was just getting on the bus when i saw a fiver in the bin tied to bus stop.

Also spotted a fiver on the shelf in a betting shop. Someone else also saw it. He covered it with his betting slip then picked both up. Crafty sod.

I find about £50 a year, on average. Best ever was a £50 note 2 years ago next to a chain link fence on an industrial estate.

Had two fivers in the past fortnight from the same car park, but can also go about 3 months without finding any notes. Shrub beds in car parks are the best places.

As a broke unemployed teenager one new years eve i was feeling depressed.
All my mates were off to the pub and i was potless. Then as i was walking down the street a twenty pound note literally blew towards me.

I quickly pocketed the money and went down to the globe to wait for my mates , it was still early , only about six oclock and i was bored and feeling like a spare part being on my own , i made my usual mistake of starting to play the fruit machine , lost the lot in about ten minutes.

Was so peeved off i slunk out and went home for the night. Such an ejit

Biggest find ever!

Not in the street, but at the San Marino Grand Prix, a good few years ago.

The guys were sick of each others company, so we had all gone on seperate walkabouts,
in the 95 degree heat.

Some of the local types erect scaffolding platform at the edge of the circuit for a better view.

I was walking past, a 2 storey masterpiece, when the biggest fattest wallet, stuffed with cash and cards, fell right at my feet.

I looked up and the guys all had there backs to me and there was nobody else nearby.

Like a complete pratt, I tapped one, on the first level on his back, and held up the wallet, which he took whilst shaking his head as it wasn't his!

I don't know what the currency was but, even if it was Lira, there was a serious bundle!

Walking towards the Best Mate enclosure at Cheltenham a few years ago one of my mates picked up a fake £20 note. It was such an abvious fake 'cos everyone was walking past it and not bothering with it. On closer inspection I said he would never get away with it and would be lucky not to get arrested. The people selling racecards must be real stupid 'cos on of them accepted it.
