Found £20 when at Pontins in 1986, I was only 12 and it was the day after Liverpool beat Everton in the Cup Final.

I found 2 x 20p coins on the pavement while walking under a railway bridge yesterday. Spent it almost immediately on a pint of milk. A very useful saving.

Years ago found a fiver at the bus stop. I was just getting on the bus when i saw a fiver in the bin tied to bus stop.
Also spotted a fiver on the shelf in a betting shop. Someone else also saw it. He covered it with his betting slip then picked both up. Crafty sod. |

By:
Come on, who was the forumite who detailed his finds? Usually 1p and 2p pieces?
Began with Z possibly? |

I find about £50 a year, on average. Best ever was a £50 note 2 years ago next to a chain link fence on an industrial estate.
Had two fivers in the past fortnight from the same car park, but can also go about 3 months without finding any notes. Shrub beds in car parks are the best places. |

Notes must fly out of pockets when people get their car keys out.

As a broke unemployed teenager one new years eve i was feeling depressed.
All my mates were off to the pub and i was potless. Then as i was walking down the street a twenty pound note literally blew towards me. I quickly pocketed the money and went down to the globe to wait for my mates , it was still early , only about six oclock and i was bored and feeling like a spare part being on my own , i made my usual mistake of starting to play the fruit machine , lost the lot in about ten minutes. Was so peeved off i slunk out and went home for the night. Such an ejit |
