I would always return a wallet to its owner if possible.

Found a USB stick full of documents and graphic designs outside my house. Went all through looking for the owners address.

Found an email address, contacted them, got an address, sent it to them.

Didn't even get a thank you by email!

Just because one person is a khunt doesn't make everybody a khunt.

Found £240 in a wallet once - the only other thing in there was a small card saying 'Happy Birthday to me' and no other id - kept it and spent it on ale - was great

Was clerking for a bookmaker at Salisbury a while back and just after a race with people walking past the back of the joint £75 floated down an landed at my feet. The horse race had been won by an 11/4 shot so I guess it was someone's £20 at the price. Don't know where it came from.

When: 07 Nov 09 12:58
it was 2 x £20 and 1 x £10

i bought the milk with the £1 coin I took to the shop !! lol

lesson for us all here, when there is 3 foot of snow outside don't be afraid to venture out to the shops, you never know what you might find !!!

Biggest find ever!

Not in the street, but at the San Marino Grand Prix, a good few years ago.

The guys were sick of each others company, so we had all gone on seperate walkabouts,
in the 95 degree heat.

Some of the local types erect scaffolding platform at the edge of the circuit for a better view.

I was walking past, a 2 storey masterpiece, when the biggest fattest wallet, stuffed with cash and cards, fell right at my feet.

I looked up and the guys all had there backs to me and there was nobody else nearby.

Like a complete pratt, I tapped one, on the first level on his back, and held up the wallet, which he took whilst shaking his head as it wasn't his!

I don't know what the currency was but, even if it was Lira, there was a serious bundle!

I found an Omega Seamaster watch on the floor once. Altough Karma played it's hand when I got drunk and fell asleep in Stratford Bus Station a few years later and woke up without it.

Walking towards the Best Mate enclosure at Cheltenham a few years ago one of my mates picked up a fake £20 note. It was such an abvious fake 'cos everyone was walking past it and not bothering with it. On closer inspection I said he would never get away with it and would be lucky not to get arrested. The people selling racecards must be real stupid 'cos on of them accepted it.
