I'm having central heating installed and to cut a long story short have ended up with a single skin oil tank instead of a bunded.
I've looked through various web sites about the regs, but am still unclear whether it'll be suitable or not.
My house is detatched, 60 yards down a private track with no open drains or waterways. Do you think it'll be OK?

I would say not suitable, it would fail under building regs
No it's not, it's a Titan 1300H.
Oh, will be ok then as long as it can't run into any drains. Don't envy your heating bills much :)

OK thanks MB, I've got no choice, had 3 winters here now with just one woodburner for the whole house and after last winter have had enough. Can't wait!!!

do you sail or use a utility vehicle to negotiate the "private track" that does not have any drainage ?
