Surely you got some inside info when you visited the yard
![]() Spill the beans!!! ![]() |

![]() Spent yesterday morning at Hendo’s. This is Lulamba who had just done some work with Nico. He will run Saturday at Ascot. Plans will be made after his debut run. |
By:
Are you on 'Hibore'? I hope he wins for connections after the unfortunate event with Sir Gino (5/4) last Cheltenham Festival.
By:
Hi Imp, yes I’ve had a bet at 10/1. Missed the 33/1 unfortunately. He’s very good but not the only one highly rated at the yard.
By:
'Hibore', I hope he wins for you; I'm too late for him. However, I do have Constitution Hill (accas, cashout on a couple), and Sir Gino (5/1) for Champion and Arkle respectively. Now merely a case of both turning up for a chance to collect or bust.
By:
I want the “other one” to win
![]() Cons Hill was there as well. He looked incredible and is definitely back. ![]() |
By:
That didn’t work right

Interesting - I thought CH looked a different horse at Kempton. Nowhere near the sparkle of old. Of course he might come on for the run, but in my view he has to.
By:
Last 100 yards or so he looked a bit like how he did on the run to the line at Aintree, the old fuel gauge was beginning to flicker. It's assumed that a good strong gallop will be right up his street, but that's with the rose tinteds on harking back to his best ever performance in the Supreme back in the day, would be a question for me what he'd have left late on these days after chasing something similar to what BDA was involved in over Xmas.
By:
I think 1st time back for over a year would make a horse feel lethargic nearing the business end. Let's hope with the cobwebs blown away Cheltenham in March will be a breeze.
By:
Phase 1 passed. Nice to get 10/1 bet into 6/4.
Looked very professional and massive chance come March. Just look out for another one in next week or so ![]() |
By:
Just seen Henderson has let cat out of the bag. Can’t help himself
![]() |
By:
Great price Lulamba it’s looking good though the novice hurdle races can be very competitive he has a major chance.
By:
Well done backers with stonking vouchers! I hope he wins for everyone involved come March at Cheltenham.
By:
Just noticed he's just beaten Mondo Man a horse that ran in the Grand Prix de Paris against Sosie convincingly. He gave the 2nd 10lbs too.
By:
Impossible ....Mondo man has just run to the same level (getting 6lbs) as a 73 rated flat horse . FWIW.
By:
Thanks 'paulo47'. His value is all gone. I hope he wins for backers. I'm going to abstain.
By:
He's also in The Supreme, why? In case Palladium (entered) is good enough to win The Triumph?
By:
Palladium is obviously the horse I was referring to as the other horse. Apparently is “better” than Lulamba but that is at home and we will see tomorrow. Price has absolutely collapsed to around 10/1 now which might be still value if Nicky is correct.
Flat horses do have trouble settling and jumping can be hit and miss. Hoping for impressive win and having two bullets in Triumph. |
By:
'Hibore', Palladium has only one entry at Cheltenham (The Triumph), if good enough. I hope Lulamba runs in The Triumph for you, and his backers. The former is 10/1 (nrnb).
By:
if you were too late to the party with lalumba or have backed him for the triumph for the triumph and palladium is as good as hendo thinks then lalumba 25/1 Sly's (don't know how much they will stand )supreme ante post could offer a bit of insurance ,its risky and dependent of many outcomes but that's the nature of the game .
By:
only 10/1 with most other firms ante post supreme^^^^
By:
Lulamba is 4/1 with a run in The Supreme, 25 here without. Latecomers could profit unexpectedly too.
By:
as said dependant on many factors .. starting with if palladium were to pish up tommoz
By:
P Nicholls Sauvignon is running against East India Dock in the Trials on Saturday. Sauvignon is currently 33s for
By:
the Festival and could be anything. If he beats EID, then his price will surely crash.
By:
yes an interesting one andymc had Sony bill back in 3rd and that one is entered in the Dublin juvenile at the weekend for wpm.
By:
Palladium wins
But not impressive ![]() |
By:
hendos guite glowing post race palladium and hints he could split them up palladium triumph /lalumba supreme
By:
Is the "Lady Bamford" who owns Palladium part of the Bamford/JCB family that sponsors the Triumph?
By:
yes ^
By:
Hendo might want to Lulalamba to go Supreme however Owners may not want to ,as they have Supreme Fav Salvatore Mundi.
By:
could be but 2 pops better than 1 .
By:
How often has Henderson sent the antepost Triumph favourite to the Supreme?
By:
Binocular?
By:
Binocular?? Brandy would possibly be only 1 i could think of and not sure whteher he was fav for Triumph @ the time??
By:
Of course. I don't recall them having another juvenile that year to run in the Triumph. Maybe Punjabi or was he earlier?

Hendo didnt have 1 but would have been orchestrated by JP team who also then owned Triumph fav Franchoek.
