National Hunt Chase 2023

I am mot sure if this is what you mean. 3m 6, amateur jockeys only, 5 + year old novices, 11st 2lb for 5 year old and 11st 6lb for 6 year old +, 7lb allowance for mares. 10 of the last 18 winners were aged 7, 6 of the last 12 winners were rated 150+, Gordon Elliott has trained 4 winners,from 10 runners. None of the last 9 fans have won.

Ok tks , novice when , and isnt there now a requirement  about wins or value of races or distance won/placed at in excess of something .

Found it ....Minimum rating 120 , 2 chase runs this season ,must have finished in the first four places in a race over 2 miles 7 1/2 furlongs or more .

Crazy decision changing the race conditions on this race.

Such an anticlimax of a race after the first 5 today which have been one of the best days racing I have seen for a very long time. I will probably be having a walk and enjoying the last of a fine day.
