Better preview was probably the Paddy Power one, but the better offers were from Coral (Envoi Allen 1/1) and Unibet (Envoi Allen 5/4 and Monkfish 5/4).

Betfair preview tonight with Paul Nicholls at 8.
By:
Dave Orr is really annoying couldnt they have got a professional to interview PFN - e.g. 'have you looked at the form of the other horses' - wtf
By:
coral had kim bailey on one. talked to him for a long time about his horses but never asked him about plans for vinndication. like interviewing boris for an hour and not mentioning covid or brexit!
By:
kim bailey seemed very sweet on happygolucky
By:
he did. but a handicap is tricky..id be v interested in vinndication in the stayers if he ran in it

Bailey plans to make a late call on whether to allow Vinndication to join stablemate Younevercall in the Paddy Power Stayers’ Hurdle, or shoot for glory in the Gold Cup.
Vinndication has not been seen in competitive action since unseating his rider in the Ladbrokes Trophy at Newbury in November. “If we were to run Vinndication in the Stayers’, David Bass would ride – so therefore when we were working the horses this morning, it was important Ciaran Gethings had the chance to sit on Younevercall (with a view to riding at Cheltenham),” said Bailey. “I’m sitting on the fence at this moment in time with Vinndication. It will probably be the end of next week before we make a decision – as close as possible (to the meeting). “He’s been schooling over fences and hurdles, and I really want to see where I am. “My biggest problem with him is the last time he ran was at Newbury, and he unseated. Until he parted company with his jockey, he was jumping brilliantly and I need to have it in my own mind that he can do that again (to run in the Gold Cup). “It’s a difficult one for everybody. I don’t want to say one way or t’other, and then change my mind." |

By:

By:
I went to school with Couch, he was a right skinny git, we had a ruck once, I hit him around the head with a metal paper bin, he was alright though.
By:
And the post of the decade award goes to Deptford.
By:
Dave Lowe Media for Couch, looks pre-recorded. Not sure when it starts, probably waiting for the watershed.
By:
deptford couch stayed her a few times i would get him tickets when united played chelsea,i stayed with him for sinndars derby ,not seem him for a few years as i no longer stay in prestbury where he was staying for the festival,i use to get a call from him from time to time especially around this week but no longer get a call,
some people get him wrong |
By:
He doesnt live too far from me, a mate sees him every so often, said hes ok.
By:
Odds on Barry Orr ever being able to pronounce Shishkin? No wonder they dismantle chat.
By:
No signs of the Couch preview. Not sure what this Dave Lowe guy is playing at. It's not live so he only has to upload it.

Cant believe anybody with any sort of racing knowledge would take anything away from these previews. These races are great little puzzles that you should have a go at solving YOURSELF .
By:
Correct. It wouldn't take much to better Segal. That said you might get a snippet on running plans and I did manage to get on a couple of small bet boosts. I need all the help I can get this year.
By:
To be fair it is riveting watching Millie Wonnacott stuff her face.
By:
diff - oh yeah mate you can certainly get little snippets but i think its better getting a few strong trends so you can narrow the field especially in the big handicaps where you can usually halve the field and then have 4 of the field running for ya . I remember Paul Kealy a few years back saying his nap of the meeting was GLEN FORSA in the Arkle . My pick would always have been a decent hurdler with an 0R of at least 142 . The fact that it did not win is not my point its that it failed on a solid stat . The easy winner was Duc De Genievres . Now check that one out , that was one with a great profile .
I am no expert by any means but i would back myself against anybody during the 4 days . |
By:
Unfortunately, lots of these are falling foul of being pre-recorded.
Arc preview is one of them and Hayley Moore woeful as the host. May as well have got her brother. |
By:
The Couch is a wonderful comedian but a lousy tipster. I think one of my favourite quips was at a Preview event back in 2014 when he argued that Irving wouldn't be able to cope with Cheltenham's undulations and couldn't possibly win the Supreme on the grounds that he'd run most of his races on flat tracks in Germany and his connections should blame Bomber Harris for that.
His prediction proved uncannily accurate (for once). Irving went off as 7/2 jt fav and finished 9th behind Vautour. He never raced at Cheltenham again. |

that was for hayleys brother

By:
Kealy fielding against Envoi Allen because he hasn't beaten anything over fences but happy to be all over Shishkin?
Betfair will allow you 1/1 Envoi Allen for maximum of £20! I am not even going to look. |
By:
con job #ankers was offered max 0,00 at evens had to withdraw the 20 I deposited
By:
Did the same yesterday when I tried to take the 11/4 Sir Gerhard. They won't even allow mugs anything more than £20. Total joke.
By:
£20 would be a wet dream for me, offering a chance to bet 60 pence. absolutely ridiculous. Should be ashamed..
By:
Tony Calvin upset Chris Hughes. Good man.
By:
Did he take the last pie? ^
By:
there will be children in schools laying bigger bets than 60 pence
By:
the kids wouldnt play wall bounce with anything less than a pound coin
By:
Other than on here though who calls them out? It's as big a farce as you can get.
