I was just wondering how the BSP holds up in the win and place market during the festival?
I’m much more familiar with the win market than the place market bsp.
The main gains of the win market are normally much bigger on the outsiders.
The problem comes up with the place market with the bookies place terms generally being superior, and when betfair does offer more places, the liquidity seems to suffer, and some don’t offer bsp.
I try to find outsiders to back, but never on the nose so have to cover the place.
Maybe something like 40%win bet, 30% normal place, 30% extra place to help cover this?
Any tips?
