I’m pretty sure this horse will run Friday and we could lose the value horse in the JLT. 12/1 is more than generous for a horse that has top chaser written all over him. He was very impressive on debut beating First Flow who franked the form with an easy win at Hereford. I was impressed not that Angels won but the way the race developed First Flow bowling along and putting Angels jumping under pressure. Not only did he cruise round on the bridle..I’m sure David Bass was taken back when Nico went past him as easily as he did. I think this horse could be a star.
Will Laurina run over fences or stick to hurdles, Samcro probably needs 3 miles depending on ground conditions, Fakir will run in the Arkle and City Islands target is unknown.
At current odds 12/1 this looks the only race Angel will run in and worth a punt. I can see him going off under 3/1 on the day.

I was impressed with AB first time out, he does have a question to answer going forward after a similarly impressive display first time last year before it melted away somewhat when stepped up in grade.
I do also think that as the season progresses Samcro who I think will run in the JLT will strengthen his position in that race and the likes of AB will stick to the Arkle.
