Taken 50/1 for the treble. Think he will win the Gold Cup again. Today is a close one to call with MB and the Haydock specialist BDM, and I aint confident Kempton will suit, but that price is too tempting.
the gold cup was a real brutal race ,the 1st 2 virtually never saw another horse ,toe to toe all the way round then the punishing hill , wouldnt be suprised if the race has took a huge chunk outta both native river and mite bite ,time will tell ! but there must be something with fresher legs .

Fair point Foyles, and MB certainly was affected by something the other day. Though NR ran ok though, hes a tough genuine stayer and will take a lot of beating next March imo.

Unless BDM can reproduce that sort of form at Cheltenham, NR has consolidated his position as a worthy favourite to retain the GC. It would have been close after another uphill furlong at Haydock anyway.

I don't know the reason for Might Bite's below par run last week but it wasn't caused by his run in the Gold Cup in March...he came out a month after that and bolted up at Aintree
