Who will win the 2018 Gold Cup? 9/2 cf3 between Might Bite, Native River and Our Duke.

Of the principals the going will favour Native River and Our Duke rather than Might Bite whose trainer Hendo is after a big race treble (Champion Hurdle/Chase). As the Irish are on a crest of a wave I'd would not be surprised if Irish money come for Our Duke who is proven over this distance and further; he also beat Presenting Percy the easy winner of the RSA giving 7lbs.

Native will get an easy lead and kick 3 out for a clear cut victory. Our duke will hit a few and finish second with Def Red running on for 3rd.

Might Bite won't stay the extra 2 furlongs on bad ground and up the hill, Native River is a proper stayer, Native River for me

I have our Duke at 33s 16s and 12s to small stakes and also backed American at 40s with a saver on native river at 11/2 so am hoping for some more rain overnight.

ROAD TO RESPECT all day imo . our duke has had a lot of support , i dont reckon he will jump though ive said this before got the engine but not the chasis , makes sense there very keen , makes sense he wont jump under pressure . nr maybe if hes somehow different to all the other tizzard inmates , might bite wont stay and even if he does likely come to a standstill 1f out and likely not have a loose horse to gee him up which without he would have been to late to respond to whisper
