I thought this about Harry Fry going into the King George meeting at Kempton on Boxing Day and he ended up winning the first 2 races with If The Cap Fits and Hells Kitchen.

Apple’s Jade did run below par yesterday but worth remembering she has been turned over at 1/2 and 2/5 previously after a break.

I also thought Mengli Khan ran a blinder in the Supreme, I didn’t have him down as a horse who would be there at the finish.

Same with Mick Jazz in the Champion Hurdle, I thought the proximity to Faugheen/Supasundae at Leopardstown flattered him but he’s ran a cracker yesterday.
