Fred Winter: Esprit De Somoza 16/1 - though I see it’s back out to 25/1 on the exchange which is a bit worrying.

Triumph: We Have A Dream 10/1 - looks a really good renewal but he has done nothing wrong and seems to be overpriced to me.

Gold Cup: Djakadam 33/1 - will love the ground and a massive price.

Grand Annual: Le Prezien 25/1 - might go for the Brown Plate but the going might mean they aim here and he went off 7/2 fav
                                                      for the race last year.

Duc des Genievres whichever option they take

really impressed with both runs but especially the last run against Samcro when really finishing (only been beaten by Samcro, Next destination and Cracking smart in its 2 races)

Acey Milan in the Bumper @ 9/1 (very impressive thus far and has also won in heavy). Fancied in respected quarters @ 9/1.

Can't remember such a low key festival. Bookies have bought everyone. Buzz isn't there unfortunately.

I am keen on Native River. I doubted the wisdom of keeping him off the track for so long but it now looks an inspired decision. The yard was right out of form for 2 months so any horse that ran from there ran poorly. NR then ran really well at Newbury proving his fitness and enthusiasm and only Might Bite stands in his way now.

Finally got one right (apart from some speculative punts). I didn't think their tactics were right in waiting for Newbury but once again Colin and Joe were spot on. A long time since a horse won the Hennessy, Welsh National and then the Gold Cup next season.

By:

When: 16 Mar 18 21:10
Yes that was always the intention, but as he was gambled into 15/2 I laid off at a much lower price than I had originally thought and basically had a free £200 bet at 15/1 to win £3k.
