I just think this chat might sound v foolish if next winter/spring the horse picks up an injury or they struggle to get the ground they want for the races they should be aiming at next ssn given the ability of the horse
racing has a funny way of biting people on the backside for folding a good hand waiting for a better 1 told you so all the rubbish about let's wait etc another ssn scratched with this horse 10yo or rising 10 by the time it runs again, pretty much no chance of winning a big grade 1 now |

i think it's prudent not to read too much into today's race; the pace undid UDS. DDS has not improved beyond recognition, I firmly believe.
