As previously mentioned, Ragnar Lodbrok was also on my radar as he was declared for the Surehaul Mercedes-Benz Novice Hurdle. Unfortunately he was pulled out due to being lame on the morning of the race and given that he probably needs a win to get a high enough mark to get into the Martin Pipe, time is likely to get the better of him.Frontal Assault was the super-sub in Ragnar Lodbrok’s absence and is now 20/1 for the MP.The one who fits the profile for me is Torygraph, who would almost certainly get in off a mark of 141 (Elliott entered him at Musselburgh to get a mark). He looks tailor made for the race, however it looks as though he’s going to end up in the Albert Bartlett. If the exchanges are anything to go by, Farouk D’alene could miss the festival altogether and Torygraph looks to be his replacement. He’s also a 20/1 best price for the MP though.
Interesting, cheers mate. I didn't know the Viking warrior was lame on the morning so explains his absence. Agreed that he will likely be too low in the weights now and I have likely a dart too high and too low!
Torygraph certainly an interesting proposition and is probably a worthwhile NRNB incase like you say Ragnar and Farouk don't make it for one reason or another.
hope you're well, long time!

RL been bumped up a whopping 8lbs, although a negative in the context of the woe is me handicapping of the Irish horses, actually gives him every chance now of a run.
a runner at a price is all you can wish for!
We shall see. Here's hoping.
