Ya, the bloke who cannot win the 2m 4f race he is sponsoring the at the Festival.

And on a line through the Irish GC form you couldn't have had a better horse winning the GC than SJ just to emphasize how wrong he was to run EOD in the wrong race...not saying he'd have won by any means but it pointed to his chances.

I think because he won the GC last year his priority this time was to win his own race and not allow it to go to Closutton (again) after the Vautour debacle last year. However, I do agree EOD ought to have run in the GC as I believe 20f is too short for him; 100% he will be in the GC next year, all being well.

Well the crazy thing is if he was ever going to win the gold cup it was this year, he'll be 11 next year, he's missed the boat because of his owner,
Elliot wanted to run him in the gold cup.

yes ....most trainers most of the time . amazing how many still trot out " can't believe we have gone up for getting beat " ...if i run 800 metres against alf my pensioner  neighbour and beat him 20 lengths and then finish 2nd , beaten 300 yards by mo farah  which might be the strongest form ???....
