Is it really a £25 return on the train? Seems a bit steep for a 40min journey

Even the train companies aren't stupid and up the prices during the week of the fez!

A return from Preston to Brum was £8 when booked in advance!! Cos thats exactly what we're doing, hotel in brum train to and from chelters Wink

one thing you must forget about  festival week to enjoy it is any idea of value for money . could be the trains , taxis , pubs , hotels ..they are all at it . just seen a days hospitality package for £419 + vat , it says it includes ' the famous cheltenham roar ' . presumably , as i will not be one of their paying customers and only  be only stood on the lawn i will not be able to hear it ???!!!
