Just had a bet on Douvan 6/4 and Altior 6/1 to remain a unbeaten for 2017 and they one have to run once. I think there's some value there and worth a tickle and added to the ante post portfolio with c0ral. Happy new year!!

C0ral.c0.uk go to horse racing then specials and then scroll down it's under remain unbeaten 2017. Had a few more quid on Altior @ 6/1 in a C0ral shop today and just checked it's still online mate.
All that food and drink over the festive period almost went to my head there. Was just about to deposit until I started thinking straight.
Was thinking this was until the end of the season but of course it's until the 31st December 2017.
Wouldn't be taking the 6/4 about Douvan. I don't doubt he will win his prep run next time out, win the Champion Chase and his final run of the season at Punchestown. However, there's surely a very high chance that his target next season could be the Gold Cup, therefore something like the King George could be on the agenda. All things considered, 6/4 is too short for me.
However, the 6/1 on offer for Altior to remain unbeaten isn't the worst bet I've seen. He should win his prep next time out and assuming he wins the Arkle, you'd expect him to win at Aintree (if he even goes there - Henderson opted not to after Cheltenham last year). You'd like to think he's a Champion Chaser next season and unless something comes over from Ireland, you wouldn't expect much competition in a Tingle Creek.

If the bet is to December 31st then no thanks no matter what the horse.
Am a sucker for these type of bets, but I have done well off them before. Not a huge punt just a few quid for abit interest.
