Popped into a local bookies today, laddies and was putting a bet on for my mum in the gold cup, this was my first visit to a betting shop since April, all of mine are done online.
Anyway I handed my slip over the counter to a rather effeminate bloke, he's taken one look at the betting slip, and says ' oh the Cheltenham gold cup that's Horse racing isn't it' the manageress looked suitably embarrassed, but if I had a bowl of cornflakes on me I would have certainly been choking on them.

Honestly can't remember the last time I was in a betting shop. Must be all of 20 years ago.
All they are now are sheds, housing FOBTs.

I thought you were going to write they had to phone head office to get the 50p ew on Vautour approved and knocked you down to 25p ew.

No a tenner win on Cue Card I doubt the guy had learnt how to use a phone.

Oh, I seriously doubt he hasn't learned to use a phone - that's probably about all he's learned. Typical modern day pin-head.
