Another I Like is Some Plan EW in the County Hurdle, very well handicapped. |
By:
Sizing Granite in the QM at 33/1 for me - pick up the pieces in a frantic race.
|
By:
WHISPER in World Hurdle...............all over him from 25/1 to 16/1. Pays for all my Ante Post "mistakes" if he places with a fair bit left over to re-ivest in the two Handicaps on Thursday and the Friday races.
Am also on GODS OWN at 33/1. And have them EW doubled up at 33/1 and 25/1. Here's hoping !!! |
By:
a few ff podcast listeners here then
for what its worth id like Tycoon Prince in the Martin Pipe if he goes there, post wind op and all that. |
By:
Complete follow over a cliff mug bet but Southfield Theatre in the 3m handicap chase on Tuesday at 33/1
|
By:
I do listen to FF but was on way before Mr Channing came up with WHISPER. No 25/1 about nowadays.
|
By:
Tell us more 50/1 Arkle. If anything happens to the market principles, is too big a price to place.
Stephanie frances mares 33/1 deffinately going for the race and price is too big imo on hurdles form, will be in the mix Measure of my dreams 16/1 4 miler. Black hercules fell at the last and has gone widely un noticed that measure of my dreams was staying on nicely and wouldn't of been beaten by far,had noble endeavour behind and beaten lilsean over hurdles. 2 from 2 over fences and chasing as always looked his game. |
By:
i agree stef francis in mares at 33-1 value... got some engine
|
By:
Also strangely 3 of willies in 1 race.
Thomas hobson 16/1 nrnb Bleu et rouge 20/1 or 16s nrnb Bachasson 25/1 nrnb All 3 go bartlett, and I want all 3 in my book. Now at nrnb prices, |
By:
Carlingford Lough 33s in GC. Probably needs Vautour to run, but could easily pick up pieces and a place at end of strongly run race. Not sure if it's the plan though
|
By:
niceonefrankie - brown plate thursday
33/1 good fun bet venetia does well in race. |
By:
Our Thomas in the Fred Winter.Very similar profile to the stables Hawk High which won the race.Sure to improve for better ground.Lovely weight too.
|
By:

|
By:
Unowhatimeanharry 25s for the Albert Bartlett
|
By:

|
By:
different gravy coral cup 25/1
|
By:
Kings Oddyssey 66/1 JLT , choice of that or handicap .
|
By:
Spookydooky 4 miler, Sempre Medici CH, Javert CHAPS and Felix Younger QM. Lovely ew multiples there.
|
By:
Dragon.
Pretty sure different gravey goes aintree rather than running off a huge mark in the coral. |
By:
Bentelimar @ 33s in the County Hurdle chased a suicidal pace in the Supreme Hurdle set by Some Plan and got buffeted about twice by Lami Serge when coming to the 2nd last.
Ran a sound race in Coral i.e Hurdle @ Leopardstown leading jumping the 2nd last has a 12 lb pull with Henry Higgins(currently 16s for county) and Desoto County (currently 10s fav for county)for a 11 and 7 length beating. Ran a stormer last time putting it up to Sempre Medici jumping the last before being eased last 1/2 furlong when realised wasnt going to win and trying to protect hcap mark. Unfashionale trainer JR Barry hence well overpriced imo. |
By:
Be nice if Mystifiable is raised at least 10lbs and gets into the novice handicap.

Le curieux fred winter.
Won his only start on ground better than very soft. Finished 4th in His most recent race (listed) was beaten 5 3/4 lengths on very soft ground. Finishing infront of Chacun pour sois (5th) who had previously finished infront of him (2nd) when le curieux was a held up 6th at auteuil, (Chacun pour sois won his only other race by 13 lengths) Back in 6th behind le curieux was Forest forest who has finished 9L and 16 lengths by DEVICE the french leading juvenile, who would win the triumph doing hand stands. Forest forest previous race he was beaten 1 1/4 lengths by Indietir who on his next start went on to beat DEVICE finishing 2nd, 5 lengths behind CHIMERE DE BERLAIS who's is the french leading female juvenile. His previous race where he was 3rd, the 4th callet mad also trained be francois nicolle was previously just behind consul de thaix who henderson rates very highly. He's been kept since November to preserve his mark with This race in mind. F NICOLLE has even borrowed some brittish style hurdles from the jockey club to school him over, and the mark he has been given by Phil smith is exactly the same as his french mark nicolle was hoping he'd get. At 33/1 nrnb. deffinately worth a punt imo |
By:
Scooby Ive heard he has been bought by JP and they didn't want to say in case he got an extra few lbs
|
By:
Iv heard that too, but not from a credible source
|
By:
25/1 our father Kim muir, 20/1 cause of causes, 25/1 altior, 16/1 diamond King coral cup, 8/1 no more heroes
|
By:
Lol pg. Meant to be prices now.
|
By:
My bad, il take any of them winning mind. I put up ballycorus as one to watch wherever it goes after it won lto, I think blue hell is a grade 1 horse in a handicap, anything de bromhead throws at the festival will be primed to the minute
|
By:
Twelve Roses 33/1 (novice handicap chase)
Un Ace 33/1 (Coral Cup - but might go in Pertemps or Martin Pipe and would be worth backing NRNB in those races) Sky Khan 50/1 (Martin Pipe - but might go in Pertemps) Some Plan 25/1 (County) Unowhatimeanharry 25/1 (Albert Bartlett) Dell Arca 40/1 (Martin Pipe) All of the above, with the exception of Unowhatimeanharry, would need "Good" to feature in an honest going description from Simon Claisse to be seen at their best. |
By:
Qewy 40/1 (County)
I'm pretty sure John Ferguson would like to end his training career with a Festival winner. |
By:
like hargam at big odds in the champion hurdle- five year olds don't have a great record but he ran well in the new years hurdle and looks like the sort of horse that will improve for better ground
also looks a very open race with no faugheen |
By:
I thought Unowhatimeanharry was being aimed at the Pertemps?
|
By:
Guitar Pete 25-1 Grand Annual.
Btw thelegend completely agree about Our Thomas who was going to be my selection. |
By:
Not gods own for Ryanair? Looks wide open and transformation last year when arriving at Chelsea was astounding. Can't see why they would go the easier route
|
By:
To be fair a stint on the wing for Chelsea is a cracking Ryanair prep.
|
By:
Lol predictive text love it. 33/1 for both nrnb
|
By:
JP McManus has bought LE CURIEUX, The Fred Winter contender trained by Frenchman Francois Nicolle. He'll run in "Monsieur McManus" colours.
|
By:
Connections have said Gods Own is likely to be QMCC bound. I think he has place claims.
|
By:
Lough Kent in Grand Annual. Henderson's only entry in a race he would love to win. Ran at Cheltenham in November, came there travelling strongly before belting 2 out.
|
By:
In the Arkle w/o Douvan market. ASO 33/1 1/4 1,2,3
Looks to be on the up but still needs to find 7 to figure here. Connections had the option to run in the handicap off of 143 or thereabouts and that must have been tempting as he could then be said to represent Gods Own off of 149 had the option been taken. Assuming NRNB the selection is speculative but looks like value to me. |
